These Community Guidelines should not only help you understand how to act within the community but also help you understand what to expect from others in this space.

Be Helpful and Relevant

The community is intended to provide helpful, relevant content to all interested parties. Comments you submit should be relevant and based on your own honest opinions and experience. For community features focused on a specific topic, you should only submit content related to that topic.
 

Respect Others

Epiphanies values diverse opinions, so you may disagree with some content that you come across. Keep in mind that something that may be disagreeable to you may not violate our Guidelines in order maintain a welcoming environment for all users. Your participation in this community must always be respectful of others.

In particular:

• Do not post content that is libelous, defamatory, harassing, threatening, or inflammatory. For example, do not use obscenities or profanity, and do not express hatred or intolerance for people on the basis of race, ethnicity, nationality, gender or gender identity, religion, sexual orientation, age or disability, including promoting organizations with such views.

• Do not post content that is obscene, pornographic or lewd, or that contains nudity or sexually explicit images.

• Do not post content that invades others’ privacy. For example, do not post other people’s phone numbers, email addresses, mailing addresses, or other personal information, and do not post links to phishing or other malware sites.

• Do not impersonate other people or organizations or pretend to be someone of something you are not.

• Do not repeatedly send messages or request to other people.

• Do not attempt to drown out other people’s opinions, including by posting from multiple accounts or coordinating with others.

• Do not engage in name-calling or attack people based on whether you agree with them.

• You may question the beliefs and expertise of others as long as it is relevant and one in a respectful, non-threatening manner.

Ads or promotional content

Don't post content if its main purpose is to promote a company, website, author, or special offer. While we wish to support private enterprise, please do not promote your own services or products on this Forum. If you are interested in a fair and mutual promotion of offerings, please contact us directly at via our contact page.

It's not allowed to create, edit, or post content about your own products or services. The same goes for services offered by:

• Friends

• Relatives

• Employers

• Business associates

• Competitors

I's also not allowed to offer fraudulent goods, services, promotions, or schemes (make money fast, pyramid).

Plagiarism, infringement, or impersonation

Only post your own content or content you have permission to use on Amazon. This includes text, images, and videos.

 

You're not allowed to:

• Post content that infringes on others' intellectual property (including copyrights, trademarks, patents, trade secrets) or other proprietary rights

• Interact with community members in ways that infringe on others' intellectual property or proprietary rights

• Impersonate someone or an organization

Illegal activities

Don't post content that encourages illegal activity like:

• Violence

• Illegal drug use

• Underage drinking

• Child or animal abuse

• Fraud

We don't allow content that advocates or threatens physical or financial harm to yourself or others. This includes terrorism. Jokes or sarcastic comments about causing harm aren't allowed.

 

Consequences for violations

Violations of our guidelines make the community less trustworthy, safe, and useful. If someone violates the guidelines, we may:

• Remove their content

• Limit their ability to use community features

• Remove related products

• Suspend or terminate their account

• If someone violates state and federal laws, including the Federal Trade Commission Act, we might take legal action that results in civil and criminal penalties.
